Katrina Karyofyllis, known professionally as Katrella, is a Canadian-born DJ/Producer from Ottawa, Ontario. At an early age, Katrina developed a passion for music, teaching herself everything from how to play piano to how to produce music millions of people around the world would enjoy. Working her way up the Ontario music scene under the name Katrella, she garnered critical acclaim rapidly and was nominated the top DJ in Ottawa several years in a row by Faces Magazine. Her success led to commercial endorsement deals with major brands such as Chevrolet with their “CRUZE-ING with Katrella” advertising campaign.

Her style of house music, with a focus on tech house, caught the attention of several world-renowned artists, leading her to tour all over the world from Canada to Thailand, playing music festivals with notable names such as Hardwell and Tiesto. This success culminated in the release of her track “Find Our Way” in 2018, which rocketed up the charts to number one in several countries with millions of streams on platforms such as Spotify.

In 2017, Katrella made the move from Canada to Miami to be closer to the heart of house music. She was granted an extremely rare artist visa for her outstanding talent and landed a residency with one of Miami’s most well-known radio stations, Revolution 93.5. As a radio and performing DJ, she has emerged as one of dance music’s most influential tastemakers. Katrella also regularly returns to Canada to visit and play shows, staying connected to her roots.

Katrella has always strived for more and aims to bring the joy of music to as many people as possible. In 2020, she became an integral partner with Industry³ Miami, a nightlife and event production company located in the Magic City. Through her music, passion, and vision, she helped transform Industry³ into one of the leading event production companies in Miami, producing live music events attended by thousands of people. She was the driving force behind Industry Thursdays at Treehouse, where she hosted her own party every Thursday night.
